Lansdowne is a renovated grand Edwardian townhouse located in the history-rich area of Redruth.
The property itself is very spacious, with wide corridors and high ceilings, and offers four ensuite bedrooms; three of which are doubles, and one is a triple room.
Each bedroom has its own shower room, comfy bed, crisp fresh bedding and smart TV with Netflix too.
Chameleon room is our ‘pet friendly’ room… dogs to hedgehogs, great or small, we welcome them to this room. T&C’s and fees apply, please contact us to discuss before booking.
The interior of this property has some fantastic design features that we’re sure will leave you intrigued and bring a smile to your face.
Lansdowne is a stunning property that has been refurbished and redecorated throughout, giving a hint of Edwardian with modern creature comforts.
Not only is the property unique on the inside, but it’s unique on the outside… boasting a stunning turret on the corner of the building – the old and the new definitely complement each other on this property.
This unique property is located on the very popular Clinton Road, giving you easy access to the town centre, bus stops and train station, and within 5 minutes drive to the main arterial route A30.
Centred between both the North and South Coast, Redruth offers easy access to St Ives, Falmouth, Penzance, Truro, Newquay, Lands End… all within approximately 40 minutes drive. Or, leave the car at the property and take full advantage of the great transport options, like the T1 Bus to Penzance and the T2 Bus to St Ives, or take the stunning train from St Erth to St Ives, a must do when visiting Cornwall.
There are plenty of places nearby to visit; if it’s history you’re after this area has plenty of it!
Check out Kresen Kernow to satisfy your history-needs.
If you’re looking for something active there are plenty of walks nearby, and bike trails, such as the Great Flat Lode and Bissoe trail.
And, if beaches are your thing then look no further… it’s around 4 miles to Portreath beach, and around 10 miles to Gwithian and Godrevy. A sunny day at the beach is great, but we highly recommend you experience the beach during the quieter months… all snugged up with a hot chocolate, the beach to yourself and enjoy the stormy clouds and windy sounds.
Whether you’re visiting Cornwall for a holiday, or looking for a home-away-from-home whilst carrying out contract work in the area, we’re sure you’ll enjoy coming back to Lansdowne at the end of the day.
